Dio Pigadia is an eco-project created in 2019 in South Peloponnese, Greece, following the principles and philosophy of Permaculture. It is an experimental place where we work on creating a sustainable system where people live in harmony with nature.
We are a community of around 10 people, short and long term volunteers. We experiment knowledge-sharing, self-organisation and community life style.
We fight for biodiversity, local production, self sufficiency, alternative farming…. We want to reinforce our local bonds with the local community and tourists to grow awareness and offer an alternative to the destructive lifestyle of our times.

We are looking for a passionate, easy socially, Greek native speaker to manage the administrative aspects of our project and take a key part in our adventure.
You will work closely with the Dio Pigadia team to collaboratively make decisions around what, when and how programs happen, in alignment with our mission. At Dio Pigadia, the decision making process always includes the team: We try to have as much as possible an horizontal organisation. So, you will be fully involved in the decisions making on every level.
Main mission includes :
- Coordinating and collaborating with Dio Pigadia Project staff and partners for programming : you will run this project with us!
- Managing the Greek administration : legal / taxes / accounting …
- Participating in program-related fundraising efforts related to European subventions/ financing;
Secondary tasks :
- Building local relationships and partnerships in the Messinia area ;
- Events organisation : Friday’s open day, festivals…;
Required skills :
- Fluent in English
- Being able to work independently as well as in collaboration with the community
- Strong communication skills
- Being flexible and solution focused
- Genuine interest in equitable and resilient community structures
Secondary skills are welcome, such as social media, videomaker, gardening, DIY expert, cooking /processing food… – all skills are welcome ! We value relevant life experiences that demonstrate qualifications as much as we do education.
We offer a 20 h/week, with flexible organisation !
