Swedish Cinnamon Rolls (Kanelbullar) Recipe 🇸🇪 Ingredients: • 2 cups milk 🥛 • 1/2 cup butter 🧈 • 1/2 cup sugar 🍬 • 1 packet dry yeast 🍞 • 5 cups flour 🌾 • 1 tsp salt 🧂 • 2 tsp ground cardamom 🌿 • 1/2 cup butter (for filling) 🧈 • 1/2 cup sugar (for filling) 🍬 • 2 tbsp cinnamon (for filling) 🌰 • 1 egg (for brushing) 🥚 • Pearl sugar (for topping) ✨ Steps: 1. Warm milk & melt butter. Mix with sugar & yeast. Let sit 10 mins. ⏳ 2. Add flour, salt, & cardamom. Knead until smooth. Let rise 1 hour. ⏲️ 3. Roll out dough, spread butter, sprinkle sugar & cinnamon. Roll & cut. ✂️ 4. Place on tray, let rise 30 mins. Brush with egg & sprinkle pearl sugar. 🍳✨ 5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 mins. Consider the Properties You Need: What do you want your materials to do? Insulate? Regulate temperature? Durability? 🎯 Identifying your needs is key. 3. Combine Creatively: Mixing materials can offer unique benefits. For example, stone walls are fantastic for temperature regulation—they keep your space cool in summer but can be tough to heat in winter. 🪨🔥 4. Balance Insulation and Ventilation: High insulation is awesome, but remember, if you open the window, the temperature inside can change rapidly. 🌡️ Consider how you’ll balance this. 5. Think About Sunlight: Window sizes and roof overhangs matter! 🌞 Plan for how the sun enters your space throughout the year.
