Do you want to volunteer at the farm?

If you are reading this means you are considering joining our community!

First of all, we want to thank you for your commitment to the environmental movement and your interest in our work. We are a self-organised permaculture community project and that means we greatly value: self-responsibility, initiative, mindfulness of our environmental footprint.

We have an 4-week minimum stay policy. We encourage longer stays that are richer for everybody! This is the way to experiment with the true Dio Pigadia community permaculture lifestyle!

For those who can’t stay so long but still want to discover the farm it is now possible. In this case, we have a participation cost of 10e/person/day to support the project.

For applications, please write us an email at volunteer@dio-pigadia.com with a short description of your skills, motivations, and required dates. Please do this in advance, we are sometimes full months ahead. We will get back to you with our info pack.

Bring along your open-mindedness, good vibe, and motivation. Help us to prove this alternative possible! We are looking forward to meeting you at our permaculture farm!

It was a truly great experience for us and we … More both enjoyed taking care of the animals, gardens and veggies on the farm and fell in love with this little paradise. We ate daily together with the other volunteers amazing fresh meals with very tasty vegetables from the garden, helped out at a beach clean up event and even went sailing together.

Since we know something about the filosofie of permaculture we made contact with Jules. We visited the place for a few hours. Warmly welcomed we had a tour around the property with a lot of information and explanation. A really inspiring place where you can really dive into sustainable living in every aspect.
