Want to come meet us and help us here on the project?

We are waiting for you at the farm!

Here are different ways you can join us and bring in your valuable good vibe, energy, and skills:

  • As visitor: Dio Pigadia is a public place where visitors are welcome. Please let us know in advance for visits, so we make sure we are available to welcome you and give you a tour. From spring to autumn, we welcome you every Friday at 6 pm for a tour of the farm. We will ask for a participation of 10e/person. Thanks!
  • As a Guest: We can host you in our beautiful cottages to relax in nature, reconnect, and visit our beautiful region. By doing so you will directly help us financially. Have vacations with meaning! Check out the Renting Cottages section for more info.
  • As Active Guest: We recommend this for guests who want to participate in the farm/community life on a free-will basis. This is perfect for Digital Nomads who need time for their professional activity but still want a taste of the community permaculture lifestyle! During the low season, we can give lower renting prices for those participating in community tasks. This usually implies participating in cooking and dishes duties. Contact us for more info!
  • As Community Volunteer (min. 8 weeks). The full Dio Pigadia experience! Community volunteers are the backbone of Dio Pigadia. You will experience first-hand the community and permaculture lifestyle, and become fully part of the family. You will participate in all the activities, rotations, and tasks. You will benefit from the knowledge and guidance of the permanent members but are more than welcome to share your knowledge, take responsibility, and help in the decision-making. Check out the Volunteer section for more info!
  • As a Short-Term Volunteer. This is an option for those who want to be volunteering but can’t stay the whole 8 weeks. Everyone should get a chance but it takes time and energy for us to show things around and introduce new ones to the farm. We ask for a participation of 10e/day. Thanks for understanding. Check out the Volunteer section for more info!
  • As a Workshop Participant. In the spring and autumn seasons we will offer thrilling workshops! Participants will benefit from the experience and skills of the Pigadians and other invited specialists. This will be an intensive knowledge exchange experience. Check out the Workshops section for more info!
  • As a Pigadian. Pigadians are the permanent members of the community. They are responsible for a specific part of the project and involve themselves all year long on-site. We are always growing and opportunities will arise. Stay tuned!

If you can’t join us on-site for now:

There is so much you can do from where you are right now!

We need visibility!

Feedbacks on Google and Wwoof help a lot. If you had a great time here or just appreciate what we do, please take a minute to leave a review telling the Google Algorithm how active we are so we show in search results. Let’s have permaculture all over Google!

My daughter and I only wanted to visit Dio Pigadia for one afternoon but we ended up staying three weeks. It was a truly great experience for us and we … More both enjoyed taking care of the animals, gardens and veggies on the farm and fell in love with this little paradise. We ate daily together with the other volunteers amazing fresh meals with very tasty vegetables from the garden, helped out at a beach clean up event and even went sailing together.
Saying goodbye was a hard one here but we both know for sure we want to come back, so it's only bye for now and thank you for everything Jules.

I spent approximately 2 months alongside Jules and many other volunteers and it was for me one of my deepest experience I've never had. You live, … More learn, practice as if it was your family, your shared project that you support, a return to a sober living.
Thank you for all, I'll never forget. Kiss
